The Citrus County Craft Council will hold its 29th Annual Winter Wonderland Craft Show on Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18, 2018, from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday, and Noon to 4 P.M. on Sunday, at the Crystal River Mall, in the former K-Mart store, Crystal River, FL. There will be free admission and free parking. The charity chosen to benefit from this show is Nature Coast Ministries.
Dozens of artisans will be on hand at this highly anticipated show with a wide variety of items, including holiday gifts and decorations, for sale at reasonable prices - knitted and crocheted items, furnishings, jewelry, hand sewn items, wood worked items, wooden toys, soaps, handbags, paper crafts, shell art, floral designs, yard art, delectable edibles and many more items all handcrafted by the vendors. Each crafter will donate a piece from their work, and raffles will be held every half hour for the donated items, the proceeds of which will benefit of Nature Coast Ministries.
We'll be there rain or shine, so please mark your calendars for November 17th and 18th. Plan to come early for the best selection. You will find unique, handmade crafts, gifts, and holiday decorations, and possibly go home with an original treasure if you are one of our many lucky raffle winners.

The Citrus County Crafts Council (CCCC) was formed in 1989 to provide a venue for county crafters to come together and sell their creations, and to give back to our community by supporting hometown charities. We are a non-profit organization with three craft shows per year, usually held in February, September and November. Depending upon the venue, some adjustments might need to be made to the months selected.More
All Citrus County residents are welcome to apply for membership to the Council. Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month in January, February, March, August, September, October and November. Membership meetings start at 2:00 PM and are held at the Coastal Region Library, 8619 West Crystal St., Crystal River, FL. Restrictions on the number of crafts in each category have been established in order to minimize any over-exposure to any one type of craft. If you are an interested crafter, contact Info@CitrusCountyCraftCouncil.org to arrange a time to bring samples of crafts and/or be placed on the agenda for the meeting.
At our meetings, the Board of Directors present new members, discuss the charity to be supported at an upcoming show, submit reports on the health and wealth of the organization and answer questions from the membership. No money exchange or food and drink are allowed at the meetings, and cell phones are to be turned off or set to vibrate. Annual membership dues are $10 which must be paid no later than January 31st of each year. Each member has a vote on any issue but family units have only one vote.
The shows have rules on how your table must be presented to the public and how pricing and signs should be shown. Assignment of space inside and outside the show is done by the Show Committee in order to avoid placing too many of any one craft category adjacent to one another. Assignments are made on a first come, first served rule. Newsletters are sent out to members with each show application and after each monthly meeting.
As a member you will enjoy the free publicity provided by the Citrus County Chronicle for each show. This partnership brings many Citrus County Residents to the events. Each crafter provides a handmade raffle gift indicative of their craft category with a minimum value of $5.00 for each space per show. The raffles are carried out by volunteers from the charity which will benefit from the raffles.
